RGS implemented rigorous software development processes and procedures to help a UK software house pass the Environmental Agency’s strict policies on measuring industrial emissions.

The software house whose customers include multi-billion pound business such as BMW, BASF and Astra Zenica was also supported by RGS during an in-depth on-site audit over a number of days.

As a result, the software house has become only the 9th company in the world to be granted the Mcerts certification by the Environment Agency for emissions monitoring software.

RGS consultants represented Progress Software to propose a replacement messaging system for the logistics subsidiary of a £2.5bn FTSE100 company . The recommendation for the messaging system which was used for all communication between head office, delivery depots and drivers was signed-off by the client.

Performance Tuning and Optimisation

RGS database performance consultants were contracted to provide expert assistance for a large Progress partner which is part of a global £6bn FTSE100 business supplying information solutions.

One of the partner's major customers was experiencing performance issues following an upgrade of their server, operating system, application and software. The consultants successfully identified the issues and made recommendations which resolved the underlying performance issues
